So I did it. Last Friday, April 11, I did my practice in the morning and again in the afternoon.
I felt very sored on Saturday, perhaps as sore as proud.
I had heard the stories of people who say that they practiced twice a day for a while, and that as long as you keep it consistent, it should not be a problem.
I wanted to try and build up to every day, but just the thought of that would take me out of the "here and now" and into the realm of "what ifs", so I am taking it slow.
Keeping it consistently means that today, being Friday again (the 18th), it is time to do the "double shift". I am quite excited about it and very grateful that yogasutra offers Mysore programs from 4:45 to 7:00 Pm as well, and my unlimited monthly pass allows me to go as many times as I want to.
My boss is hinting at the possibility that I may be going to London soon. I have looked at studios and there is one near the office, about 20 blocks away from Liverpool station which is where we are based there. That made me really happy.
New York is sunny and will get into the 80s by 5 PM, so everyone is happy.
