I have pictures in asanas in many places of the world except, oh dear, where I live!!! and India, how is that possible? Here is me in Thailand for example, while at YTT (teacher training).
That was Janu C a year ago, I am happy to know that progress does happen! I now go all the way to the knee with my nose and my knee allows me to twist the foot much deeper, what a difference a year can make!BF also suggested doing poses in the snow the next time we have one, I am not looking forward to that one so much, although it could be done.
Can pictures be posted in comments? Do you have pictures to show? would love to see
hi there! I don't think we've met, but I've been at ayny for 8+ years :) such a great idea... have fantasized about doing a shoot in our amazing city for a long while- maybe we can plan a group outing on a sunday?!? I have shots in bklyn heights and snowy central park posted on my facebook page, t i n a z y m [just take out the spacing to find me]-- namaste!
ReplyDeletehi Stamatiya, nice to meet you, yes I would be up for something like that, it is fun to take pictures! I will check yours in facebook :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'm one of the few yogis who's been to India who has never felt the remotest urge to do yoga poses in front of a temple! Or on the beach for that matter. Ditto for by the pool. I guess I'm either REALLY practicing or I'm not. I do enjoy looking at others' photos of yoga all over the place though.
ReplyDeleteHi B, it is good that you are so focused, yet it would be great to see some photos of you, I think I am not the only one who would like that :)
ReplyDeleteAhhh... I am in a sort of yogic seclusion on this trip. They are all so different!! It's freaky how the universe sets itself up for what you need.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think I was going to film anything else here, but now that Venki's taking a week off, there is bound to be another clip or two posted before my return.
I'll start posting on the blog again too, but I want to be really careful about the ways in which I direct my energy now.
I think that is a great thing B, the part about being careful on how the energy is directed, yes, very important!
ReplyDeleteYes... People often tell me how much kinder I seem now, people who have read me since the early days of my blogging, four plus years ago.
ReplyDeleteWords have power! It took me awhile to realize that.
