3 Surprises on this trip to India

380 for the very rich
1) Emirates, the A380.  Goodness that Airbus 380 is BIG, and the seats in couch are a little wider than say, in the 777, or the 747, I really liked it.   I know my planes by the way,  my dad was a pilot.

Not only that but near the bathrooms, where the stairways go up for the business and upper class area there is a LOT of room to do yoga.

Obviously they read EarthYogi and get hints about we, the people who need to do yoga in planes.  Not that I practiced this time, I was zzz most of the trip which was also great, I needed it.

My seat by the aisle - slept most of the trip

2) Bangalore Airport.  Ehem!, what happened to the airport where I landed in 08?  It used to be a dirty room with one band for bags and a few people sleeping behind desks: the "information representatives".

This time as I landed I had to wonder if I had left Dubbai already or if I was hallucinating.  Goodness, good job!

Bangalore Airport, amazing!

3) The shala, has a new office for Sharath at the end near the men's changing rooms, and he uses a Mac, so we are obviusly on the same mindwave... well not really... he just uses a Mac.

Anyway, practice starts tomorrow, my body has no idea what time it is or what or when to eat, but I am enjoying it all.

India spent around US$13b on pretty things for the Commonwealth Games in October, 2010.
