7 Great Reads for Monday - Blogo-web-sphere

Krishnamacharya's Yoga Makaranda, (1935) has finally been translated into English by his son, Desikachar, and is available!

Incredible snapshots from Google Earth, they keep loading too,  love them.

Been looking at the great  incomplete complete history of yoga  and realized Swami Radha  (under Sivananda) is missing, guess that is why she called it the "incomplete-complete", hee hee.

She also recently did a creative graph on the eight limbs.

Kimberly "Kikki" Flynn has now a website with advice on the practice and photos of her days as an actress, who knew?

Post-Mysore reflections.

Lady Gaga designed a bracelet ($5) with all proceds going to Japan

  3. Just ordered mine too, be interesting to see if it's different in content from the version I have. Either way the pictures should be of better quality, mine was photocopied off photocopies god knows how many times (for Ramaswami's Krishnamacharya course). Supposedly there is a sequence of postures in the new one that wasn't in mine, interesting. Wonder if he will republish the yogasanagalu now.

  4. Grimmly that is great news, and it will be interesting to see... as per the Yogasanagalu, does he actually have it? if he does, then why not? something to look forward too.... I think he realizes there is huge demand !

I cant wait to read your post on the "secret sequence of postures" that is not in yours... ;-)

Oh my God it’s great. With the non-restriction of clothes, I
get in touch with nature, it brought a natural freshness to it, I feel so free,
that’s a great feeling, everyone should try it.
