"I see 50 scenarios that's what it does, it puts me 50 moves ahead of you".
Could I have one please?
Do you think Kirshnamacharya experienced something like this? only perhaps, well, he had stronger yama/niyamas? Was he "The perfect version of himself"?
The most interesting comparison I have found between the movie (which I enjoyed by the way), and yoga was by fellow Yogic Muse blogger Brooks, who said:
"In terms of higher brain function, it reminded me of something I had read in Moola Bandha, The Master Key, by Swami Buddhananda:
The "pill" in the movie gives the taker access to 100% of his or her brain power. It begs the comparison to yoga then. Are these the siddhis that a practice of yoga would bring?…the practice of moola bandha also represents a contraction of certain switches in the brain, which stimulate physical, mental and spiritual relaxation. Also, hitherto dormant areas of the brain (an estimated 90%) begin to plug into conscious awareness, increasing our ability to live life fully."
Absolutely!
ReplyDeleteHi Claudia! I've enjoyed reading your thoughts on the movie.
