Why are These Two Writers Getting Divorced?

I am confused. These two women are a big part of my inspiration. Within the past 10 years or so I read all about their journeys, from unhappiness and being broke, through spirit, to finding love and making a good living from doing work they loved.

Oriah became a best seller with The Invitation.  Sarah became a best seller with Simple Abundance. Their lives were never the same.

They both shared intimate details on their lives in their books, bleeded on the pages, told about the way they struggled, how they found comfort, how they made it through their previous divorces and how they eventually met men that appeared as their soul mates.  Through them I understood how they kept close to their spirits, listened, learned, corrected, continued.

In a previous article I even described how this happened, and by "this" I mean what I found out today, that both women are in divorce proceeds, and also looking at new ways to generate income, that scary part of life.

I am sure they will both be fine. I just cannot help but wonder why did it not work out in their marriages? Of course there are lots of factors, and every couple is a world in itself.  Perhaps it is not up to me to find out, and I might never will, but I wonder.

  1. Life stuns us sometimes, when there is no ready answer, other than "things-everything" changes. Only the rocks stay the same.

  3. Cory good to know you are recovering and coming back to having energy for YOU :-) surreal is probably a good word, I have only been married once and for the good reasons, but I know I am lucky, not always the case... I can only imagine how hard it must be...
