SUNDAY YOGA BLOG TIMES: I AM FLYING ABOVE WORLDLY PRESSURES

Are you playing Yoga Ruined My Life? with Richard Freeman?  You are encouraged to post in their Facebook Yoga Workshop page, the funnier the better, winner gets some cool prizes, I already posted.
And don't you know it!
I am without fear or burden. I am not troubled by future or past, flying above worldly pressures.  That is Krishnamacharya speaking of vinyasa.  He might as well be talking about the power of being present, fully flowing with this moment.  He is teaching the goal of yoga in poetry words, he is pointing to that place where the inner space is no longer dependent or affected by what happens outside,  free from conditioning.

Savasana adict attends the event in which Tim Miller shows up for intermediate led class with Sharath in Encinitas.  Respect.

Not only that, then we also hear from Tim himself and how his ass has not been kicked so hard since the Pattabhi Jois days!

Been following with great interest Laruga's account of her workshop with Peter Sanson (remember? the Ashtanga teacher that you would not be able to guess how old he is?)  -  Here is her day 3 (all days are worth a read), in which she has a great analogy of what happens through the practice and pearls and diamonds.

And Mikko / Helena's studio, MysoreYogaCPH has opened its doors -last Wednesday-! They are doing great and the space is already filled with warm energy, check out the picture to see the beautiful Mysore room.  There was an issue, you may remember, with the red retro sofa, I wanted to know what that was all about.  Well, we asked everyone who attended the party to tell us about it and I got to chose the lucky winner for a one month free of yoga, at MysoreYogaCPH of course... Would you like to know who the winner is? Head over to their Facebook page where they are announcing it today.

The studio ready, beautiful, and working

  1. Nice moment in the video where Tim, just behind Sharath, starts nakrasana in the quicker style we're familiar and perhaps how he learned it (a few others do the same) but then follows Sharath's count.
