December 2009 Video diary of my backbends - urdhva dhanurasana

Here is the December edition. This time on a dress, it is Friday after all

This is how it was coming in November, and oh ! the hair!

And by the way, suggestions are welcome... I do want to drop back one day!

  1. I love the dress!!! :) I don't know how it is for most people but I stood up from wheel before I dropped back. The first time I "stood", what actually happened was that I launched myself forward with such velocity that I landed on my knees... I think I was ready for that when I got to the point that I could walk my hands in close enough to my feet to see them, while in wheel.

  2. Thank you!, How interesting, I have just started walking the hands in as well, like you say you were doing right before you propelled yourself upwards, and that is exactly what C suggested I start trying to do way back when... but it still hurts a lot, so it might take some time. Thanks for sharing, I really really appreciate stories of this kind, they encourage me!

I love the dress too, comes from a series my boyfriend got me in Buenos Aires, they have absolutely amazing designers there!

  7. Hi Grimmly, the dress is actually a present from the boyfriend who got it for me in Buenos Aires so no lululemon I'm affraid but anyhow... must show off!...

Funny you mention the Bourne Supremacy because He (BF) really reminds me of Mat Dammon, he has that kind of thing going, so I was laughing when I read you wrote that. Can you believe how FAST he plays chess!!! glad you watched the videos
